Default "The Right Stuff" gasket maker

Hey guys! Well currently, my bare block sits on an engine stand all clean and freshly painted and tomorrow I plan on starting to rebuild the engine. I have a felpro engine gasket set and a couple tubes of "the right stuff". So the question is: Where should I use "the right stuff" instead* of an actual gasket and where should I use "the right stuff" with* a gasket? Thanks!

Ends of the intake is the only place I use it to "replace" a gasket on an engine. Put just a dab at the corners of the oil pan

In reference to the lower intake and where it meets the heads I assume? Thanks

I use the righ stuff in conjunction with the timing cover gasket and water pump gasket also for a sure seal, also if pan gasket is cork I like to run a very thin bead along it also

That stuff is the best RTV you can buy in a parts store.

But i get this silicone from a buddy at an INTERNATIONAL dealership that is unlike anything else. Its 50 bucks a tube but works better than anything else.Luckily i dont have to pay that lol.

Why not use a 1 peice pan gasket and the GT40P fel pro kit with the rubber end peices?I use silicone to glue them down and thats about it.Just get a pan gasket for a 99 explorer and an intake manifold gasket kit for the 99 and do it right?

I wouldnt use cork on anything. After a while it dries up and becomes brittle the rubber ones dont.

I think my timing chain cover sprung a coolant leak, so here we go...
