put them all in, tightem them as tight as possible, start the car and just keep tightening, keep doing it until u cant do it anymore. then turn it off. come back an hour later, and do it again, do it about 2 time. u should be good then

you shouldnt crank down on them... thats a good way to break them off in the heads.

Just buy the ones I linked you to... you can re-use them later on down the road. all sbf heads use the same size thread...

i have aftermarket bolts the smaller head size "7/16th" for my long tubes, i mean i used about a hand size wrench to do them, just snug them pretty tight, dont crank the living crap out of them

I think I will get those locking bolts but I will install the new gaskets with the old bolts and replace them when they come in the mail takes around 14 days to Canada can't wait that long haha. i will snug them up nice with a 3/8 ratchet or something then that should do it.

Im getting some locking bolts next time i do heads and cam. I'v let my car sit for a week or more to wait for a quality part when the parts store has it a mile away...its worth it in the long run.

Alright I have a really stupid question now. I bought the gaskets and they are like a silver perforated looking gasket. What side goes against the manifold and which against then head? Thanks
