THANKS!just out of curiosity what should i be running at the track with mac longtube headers, straight pipes,intake,70mm throttle body,3:73 gears on d/r?
If you can drive(I am assuming u can), then I'd expect you to run a mid-low 14@97-98mph. Your ET is all dependent on your 60ft. A 1.9-2.0 60ft and you'll be rolling. I've read magazines in the early 90's where they made an LX 5.0 run mid 13's with nothing more than a K&N, UDP's, Flowmasters, M/T drags, and 3.55 gears. So you should be able to run some decent times.
Yeah good luck! Your trap speeds may be a little low, but then again, you're not making tons of power either. The gears will really waken your car up. What gears do you have now? 2.73/3.08's? In my experience, I gained 7mph in the 1/8th mile by adding an Intake manifold and my 4:10 gears.
ive ran concestant 14.6 on street tires and no gears. i think u would be running 14 flat if not high 13's (assuming u can drive again) esp if u have slicks
