i already have a line marked where i want but my timing would never do that its like all of a sudden i can see numbers then they disappear and im looking at another part of the balancer then all of a sudden i see them again like if its jumping back and forth from a blank spot on balancer to timing marks

cap and rotor are new also, the light on timing stays flashing it never goes out its just weird that im flashing timing light to pointer looking at numbers then all of a sudden its flashing on another spot of balancer then like a second later timing numbers jump back in again
