storing longblock

Default storing longblock

what is the best way to store a long block? I have an engine stand for it and will probably just leave it on that but whats the best way to store one? it willhave never been started. just rebuilt and put back on the stand.

Im going to say engine stand, and lots of bags with tape. Keep moisture out.

They sell engine bags, pretty much the same thing as a car cover. It allows moisture to escape but keeping all the bad stuff out.

eastwood sells a block off kit(or you can use tape) but they also sell a desiccant spark plug to keep moisture out of the cylinder which is great if its gonna be sitting for a while
