dont waste the time. spend your money wisely by piecing together a good head/cam/intake combination. if you need further advice ask

To play devils advocate, the Dart Jr's do not flow as well as ported E7's. You can make decent power with a matched combo anyday.

There are charts all over the internet. Now, Thumper and Powerheads both report they flow (@.500) approx. 217-219 intake, and 176 (powerhead w/1.6 valve) and 154 thumper with stock valve size. Those are comparable to other Irons, Stock GT40, Dart Jr.

The only way your going to flow more than ported E7, is but a aftermarket head, like TF or AFR. Those flow some serious air.

no you dont have to use the gt40 intake. use the gt40p or gt40 heads if you want, but buy valve springs and a matching cam look at andersonfordmotorsport.com they sell cam and spring kits, and look at an edelbrock carburated intake and get a holley carb. If you have the cash i would send the heads somewhere to get a valve job and get some port work done, get em cleaned up

the only thing you need, is if you get gt-40p's you cant use equal length shorty headers, you can put any intake on top of em. if you wanna make it moderate, the frpp cams work well, like a e cam f cam, i currently run a tfs stage 1. look into a weiand stealth intake and a holly carb.
