Fuel line ?

Well iunno how it happend by my fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter rub/melted through guess from the exhaust. Now my question is can i just get some suitable fuel line hose and use hose clamps? I have an after market fuel pump bbk 225 lb/hr will the line hold?

Steel braided maybe. I would find a donor car if possible.
