Unhappy At a loss!

About a month ago my car started acting really weird, once started up it would try to die just by touching the gas pedal. If you floored it then it wouldn't die. But it has no throttle response unless I put it to the floor. My friend noticed that I had black smoke coming out of my exhaust after I had left his house once. But not since then. It's also backfiring when i'm trying to go.It will die sometimes just at an idle and it will also rev up to about 1,700 rpms at an idle! Talk about embarrasing when your at a stop light and it just dies.. I replaced all of my spark plugs and spark wires, checked my timing, changed my fuel filter. Still nothing gives! Any one have any ideas? The next thing I could possibly think of is perhaps Oxygen Sensors?

Thanks in advance!

I pulled codes... nothing showed. Nothing at all... I replaced both my oxygen sensors and replaced my maf. Still to no avail. Could it be a leak in my manifold? maybe a vaccum leak? I have no clue what it could be, I still cant go over 4,500 rpms. It cuts out terribly and won't climb any higher. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked the fuel pressure as well?
