get another stock T5, and dont power shift it. it will live just fine.
(also launching all out on slick's is a no-no)

Anybody ever heard of a "z spec" gear upgrade? My local t5 rebuilder said he can do it. Otherwise what gearset should i choose for a budget rebuild?, i cant afford the high end like astro.

Does that mean first gear in a z spec is quicker or longer than a normal t5?

the physical design and overall weight of the t5 make it incapable to withstand large amounts of hp and torque for long periods of time, z spec, g force...whatever the hell it is internals....its still a t5. especially with powershift and hard launches you'll significantly reduce the life of a t5.

if you're going big...save for a TKO. less money in the long run.

tremec transmissions use stock fox bellhousings, stock fox clutch forks, the tko 500 uses the 10 spline (stock) clutch, and they come with a shifter (new) and the crossmember issue... cut the tack welds on your stocker, slide it back and have it re-welded after the trans is in

If you went TKO600, you only need a new clutch disk... not a whole clutch
