Default carb size

hey guys
what would be a good size carb to go with on my car?
currently running full exhaust, f 303 cam, bored .030 over flat top pistons
converting to carb this summer so just tryin to get some stuff figured out

I wouldn't go bigger than a 650 cfm carb on that one but this is a matter of big debate. You will probably get opinions from 300 cfm to an 1150 dominator. The intake choice will be a big topic as well. I'd go with an Air Gap intake but you really need some headwork, good headers to go with that cam.

yea
i bought the car that way though
i wouldnt have picked that cam had it been my choice
one day ill put a comp cam in it but its not a big priority this very moment

Stock heads and an F303 is a mismatch anyway. You're either gonna need a somewhat smaller carb or one that pulls good signal, so you don't lose bottom end. Top side is gonna get strangled by the heads before the carb.

pull the F and go with a E put on a 600 holley.it will fly

if i put a new cam in it it wont be a letter cam
but thanks for the info guys
ill look into a new cam as well
and what do you guys think of summit racing's carbs?
any good?
