ok im a little stumped here once again, in the sticky vfast told me to go buy, it says to preload the pinnion to 29lb in, like 2 1/4 ft lb, then it says to tighten the pinnion nut to 140ftlb why is this and what am i setting the pre load at 29lb in for when i have to tighten the nut to 140lb ft? and when im setting backlash should the carrier be tight and the pinnion preloaded? im not shure lol, thanks for the help

nope its all new, its not bad but it hums just a little, dad and i will prolly take the carrier back out and shim it back to the left a little, becuse it was tight, i think we made it a hair to tight, but the patter looked really good on the teath.
