Arrow B,E,F or comp cam?

Well my car is pretty much bolt ons and its still speed density. So my friend has a lil set of collection of cams hes willing to give me a cam. He has a B,E,F ford cams and a comp cam xe274 and xe270.Now i just have bolt-ons i was wondering which cam would i be able/best one to run? Im also looking to go with a edelbrock rpm or tricklow street burner manifold once i swap cam.I know i should do heads to but im currently saving up for some 185 trickflow twistwedge heads. So im wondering wat cam to get?
Thanx

get the comp cam, but you'll need to upgrade your springs to match. forget the alphabet cams. but your first mod should be switch to MAF...

go maf, then save up for some heads. the E6's you're gonna have on that car are absolutely worthless. save and grab some TFS heads along with your new cam (which should NOT be a alphabet cam)

Figure out how you want to build the car before you make a cam decision. Gear ratio, compression ratio, stall (if auto) car weight, how you drive where you want to make power, total induction, etc etc etc. The question just isn't that easy to answer responsibly.

Well even taking into consideration Intakes and rpms. The xe270 will provide a power band between 1500-5800 which better suits the TF streetburner with an rpm range of 1500-5500, in comparison to the xe274 with a band of 2200-6200 which would better match the eddie.

Go Comp. Alphabet cams are dated.
