Default adjusting clutch

Im trying to adjust my clutch b/c i have to put it to the ground each time I shift. It starts to grab right when u lift up off the clutch. I found the cable but there is no way to adjust it. also, the clutch is so off that it's stiff to shift??? how do u adjust? is it just stretched. can I wedge the cable or something?

Do you have all stock componets?"quadrant, cable" because if you do there is really no way of adjusting the clutch, you will need either a firewall adjuster or a adjustible cable or both to get the adjustment that you need. And i would just look into getting a kit off of ebay or somewhere else with the quadrant, cable and firewall adjuster.

theres nothing else to say really, I just need to adjust clutch. yeah its stock and everything works fine, its just the cable i guess. I go to shift and I have to press clutch all the way to the floor, also hard to shift, just really stiff. My best bet is that my cable is stretched??

Well you can't adjust anything will all stock parts, so you're atleast goning to have to buy a adjustible cable or this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

first get rid of all the stock components and get yourself an adjustable clutch cable, billet quadrant, and a firewall adjuster and it will fix your problem

i've heard that to adjust the stock clutch, lift up the pedal tight, then depress it down and you should hear some clicking noise?? that's just what i heard, i've not done it.

working with the stock quadrant sucks bc most of the time the teeth are stripped so thats why it doesnt stay tight anymore

yeah, ur right. the stock quadrant underneath the clutch pedal (plastic) was moved somehow??? if you lift up on the clutch pedal and pull it towards you, it resets. its not stripped though but thanks for telling me where it was.
