ok im lookin at a 1989 Gt here in NJ... 92k miles 5 speed..... Interior is MINT, engine isnt modded at all... only thing it needs is a new back bumper cuz its cracked over tail pipe and car needs paint... guy is askin 2.5k. that good?

What hp/tq do the stock GTs for this year put down?
i know there easy to mod out and all but is the work itself easy to do compared to some cars?
What would be the gas milage for dese thhings? and this year needs premium right?

and i guess anything else i need to know about the fox before i get it? like im not saying im mustang retarted here just that u guys own foxes so there might be something u know that i should know before i get one or something i dont know...

All I can say is I wish that guy lived here or I'd buy it. I'm looking for a Fox 5.0 too.

Anyway, of those all I can answer is that they're rated at 225 hp and 300 ft lbs.

you don't NEED to put premium in it. and i would say its a great deal

not Needed? what do u guys run? would u say at least mid-grade then? i mean i dont want to be hurting the engine or anything at all.... course i know concerning gas i wil prob end up keeping a beater so

Your compression is not high enough to require premium, I would run mid grade unless you advance the timing.

i run premium in my 1990 gt and it runs better and i also seem to get better gas milage.

I run premium, but I also have 10.5-1 compression and 16 degrees of timing too....if you haven't bumped the timing regular 87 octane should be fine. Unless, of course, you're in Califonia where they have that "fake" gas...
