Default Wires

Always go over kill on the grounds. Get the right cable, just remember for every foot of cable you loose energy from the length of the wire. Example 5ft of wire 4G you would be at 12V, 10ft of 4G you would be at 11.4V and so on. You get voltage drop per X times of cable. That is why welding cable is so thick. I run 1G wire from the trunk to my solenoid to the starter and have no problems. Hope this helps
