i have 3.55's and they are great, i actually might want to go 3.73 later on

depend's on your goals. If you just want a little more up and go, then 3.55's or 3.73's are great, id get the 3.73's.

i daily drove my car with a AOD and the 4.10's for a long time. 4.10's are not as bad as some people make them out to be.

I put 3.27's on my AOD and the difference is about 10mph for every shift. I didnt put on a higher ratio because that's the highest ratio they produced AOD's with so I figured the engineers at Ford had a reason for it.

So instead of going into OD @ 55mph its @ 45mph

I'm guessing 3.55's will put you around a 13 mph difference. (Not sure)

Its got some more pep around the road, I lost some noticable MPG but that could also be because I'm on the gas a little more now.

i got better MPG in the city and worse on the highway with the 4.10's. take's WAY less throttle to get the car up and moving.

I wouldn't see em making your car overheat, may make your trans work alittle harder not sure. If you like to drive your auto hard alot i'd suggest a dedicated trans cooler, it'd be a good idea even if you don't.

^^^^^hes right, heats what kills a tranny, and if your cars coolingsystems working correct you should have no overheating problem
