It's not the over bore that makes power. .060 is less than 10 cubes, which is not really going to add much power to an engine. The rule is to go with as little bore as possible to get the bores true and smooth.

and for the guy who said no way on a .60 over with a supercharger.....I run 10's with a "stock" 302 bottom end and a supercharger.....

You are the one who made it sound you think the block is what makes it a 347. Nobody here is being an *******, just telling you the truth. There is no insight other than you have probably have a regular old 302 that has been bored too much. I wouldn't use that block for anything other than a door stop.

umm saying hes dropping junk off at my house is being an ******* and an iron block is prob worth 5$ at a scrap yard idiot id waste more gas going there than its worth and i never said the block was a 347 i said it was used as a 347
