Yeah a little more info is needed. Have the heads been clearanced for the new cam?, you don't need any valves to contact pistons. What type of head bolts, stock, ARP, studs. I personally never reuse bolts on a performance motor, I will reuse ARP's on a stock build but otherwise I use ARP head studs.
What type of rocker arms?
Is the cam the same type that came out. If you replaced a flat tapped with a roller, the pushrods will be different length etc... Again more info needed.
If you are a rookie at this, just learning and using all stock stuff, I would go to your local autoparts store and get a Chiltons or Haynes manual. It will give you all the needed info to put a stocker back together.

To be honest with you i dont know what type of cam he has in it he had it almost done the rockers and valve covers and intake need to be put on and thats all i know of. I am just going to run the stock rockers because he said they would work but right now he is working on another mustang and had no time to finish it. he said it has a 5 angle valve job and a newly rebuilt head with new valves. id assume its just stock though they are already torqued down and everything i just need to install the rockers as i said before
