BBK fuel pressure regulator leaking through vaccum port
I put a BBK fuel pressure regulator on my car last night and turned the pump on (which is switched) to check for leaks and it sprayed out of the vacuum port. I thought that maybe it was just to tight or not set right because I bought it used but I tried adjusting it with no luck. Then I put a cap over the vaccum port and turned the pump on and it shot up to 60 and stayed there untill I backed out the adjusting screw untill fuel leaked out. Is the diaphram inside ripped? Or am I just not doing something right. It seems weird that the fuel pressure is not dropping when I turn the pump off shouldnt it just go down the return line? Any help is apreciated.
