ok i was told that my car might be vapor locking on me. when the car is cold and i get going down the road and i get up to 45 and let off the gas every once in a while it will jerk. its not quick shifting back and forth between gears. how can i go about fixxing this problem?

 

vapor locking with a fuel injected car is not likely...could be a bad fuel pump or just a dirrt fuel filter

 

what kind of jerk? not a natural quick deceleration after letting off the gas at a higher rpm?

 

Probably your transmission...
