so, you buy a part and then ask if its good or not?

to answer your question...

unless you're boosted or running high RPMS...then no its not good for you.

Now all you have to do is take the rest of your money, throw it on your lawn, and light it on fire. Far better use of funds.

There are two intakes that make power on 5.0-s. The trick flow track heat, or the edelbrock performer. Bench tests will confirm this, my car loved the track heat too.

The SSi isnt a whole pile better than stock, just a lot more expensive.

+1

the SSI-R Intake is NOT a bad intake. BUT. they like big motor's (lots of air flow) and boost (turbo/supercharger)

on a stock or mild motor, its going to do next to nothing, and on a stock motor it might even hurt the power. as stated.

i don't even like how that bbk intake looks. I would sell it and get an exploder intake or save for another one.

One bonus is the valve covers can be removed without taking the intake apart
My friend has one with Trick Flow heads and it runs pretty strong.
