Default clutch cable

I put a 3550 in my 94 gt and i have an adjustable clutch cable. the kind that can be adjusted on the firewall. the clutch pedal just doesn't seem as hard to puch in anymore and it isn't that old. i was thinking maybe it just needs adjusting but what exactly does the adjustable cable adjust? because the end of the cable has the adjustment on it to so what does the firewall adjustment adjust?

The cable sets the initial adjustment and the firewall adjust for clutch wear.

your pedal will not feel the same as it did with your stock trans, You are now using fox parts, which have different lengths and pivot points. I thought the same thing about my car when I installed my 3550... but all is well
