headers!!!!
i put on a pair of bbk shorties and i think their leaking exhaust. i have a new h-pie and flowmasters and it's hard to tell but i hear a fint ticking noise when i'm accelerating from a stop. my dad thinks it's a valve but i think it's the damn headers. i just rebuilt the engine so it can';t be a valve, least i hope not. i might threadlock the headers but any suggestions?
if you used paper gaskets for the headers, then you need to tighten the bolts every time you change your oil. if you have the good gaskets that crush with the pressure of the bolts ( can't think of the material off the top of my head, but i've used them :P ), then they should be fine.

i used the ones that crush and are double layered like aluminum or something and my car is skipping very badly at low rpms if i punch it the problem goes away but if i drive normal up until about 45 the car is skipping badly.........just installed long tubes and xpipe and the car has been running like crap everything seem to be tight ..02 sensors are on and connected also
