i was contemplating a 331 or 347 motor.. but what about going with a 351 w thats fuel injected????

can all 302 parts be swapped to the 351 motor?? what needs to be changed on the motor to work

iam pretty sure they will swap.dont take my word for it but i think think the push rods has to be replaced.

they sell different motor mounts to make the motor sit down lower and you'll need a new intake thats about all i know

motor mounts for a 302 and a 351 can be reused suspension needs to be upgraded tranny needs to be upgraded rear end needs to be upgraded heads won't work intake won't work cause of how wide the motor is ummmm.........hope that helps i am currently doing the same swap except in a 95sn...... i am just about done with my suspension next i get to start working on the motor. oh yea if u want to go fuel injected with the 351w trickflow makes a upper and lower intake that will make things a lot easier and i am sure you know u have to upgrade to bigger injectors goodluck

well im gonna get new mounts, why would suspension need changed, the 351 isnt THAT much heavier than a 302? suspension is least of my worries, im getting a tremec cuz even the 302 is too much for a old t5, rear end? WHY would the rearend need changed? 8.8 is very strong are you sure you know what u talking about.

the heads and intake wont fit??? i thought they did, are you sure?? im pretty sure they fit.

i said the suspension cause i know u won't be putting it in stock....and when i said rearend i meant like the axles and things like that. the intake won't fit or thats at least what the people at jegs and summit told me.......the heads will fit provided the bolt holes in the heads are stepped and can be drilled out for 1/2 inch fastners.

oh yeah the 351 ways 100lbs more

the intake will not fit you can tell buy just looking at the 351 then the 302 theres quite a bit of difference
