hey guys. ive got an '85 5.0 stang and im wanting to either turbo it, or procharge it. problem is it has a carburetor and i was told i will need a blow through carb for this. is there a way to convert my holly 650 to a blow through or will i need to buy a whole new carb?

you can build it to be blow through but i would look at the costs of doing so before you start to see if its worth it. take a look here http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?board=13.0 a whole section of the forum is for boost/carb setups. they can tell you all you need to know. there are a couple shops on that forum that build blow through carbs at a good price and everyone says they are a bolt on deal with almost no tuning needed.
