Ok so my fuel pump when out in my 93 notch a week or 2 ago so I replaced it today along with the fuel filter but when I turn the key to the on position to prime it the pump wont stop running and it will not fire so I check the sharader valve it pours gas out when I press it but it still wont fire so I pulled a plug.... nothing my plugs are dry as can be dont smell like gas or anything. I have no clue what the problem is the only thing I thing of is the regulator and I would like to know what you guys think.

 

number 1 you need a FP pressure tester on the schredor valve to verify exact pressure........if the pump continues to run in the koeo mode you need to test the FP relay.....when ecm sees PIP signal it grounds the fp relay and windings are pulled in and contacts bridged, if the relay is functioning as designed and ecm is continuing to ground fp relay in koeo mode then it may have a bad ecm, but rule out all other probs first

 

I had a ecm problem in the back of my head but am really hopeing thats not what it is... Would I be able to take the ecm out of my dads 91 GT and test it in my 93 coupe? Or is there a difference between the 91 GT and my car? Both cars are pretty much the same 5.0 5 speed the only difference is I have flows a K&N filter and 3:55s so the comps should be the same right???
