Default running extremely underpowered

just reciently the mustang i have wouldnt turn off because of the ignition switch, and during that it started to over heat and spewed almost all coolant out of its radiator cap and resivor. after i pulled the coil plug (extremely painful btw) i replaced the ignition switch and put coolant back into it feels like its running with almost no compression in its cylinders? what could be the culprit? Head gasket? valves? i need suggestions. a mechanic told me to replace the motor but i have nearly no money thanks to this economy

do a compression check on it and check your oil to make sure it isn't milky and also make sure you have no white smoke coming out of the tail pipe

Sounds like a head gasket or crack. OUCH, should have just pulled the fuel pump fuse.

Coil plug? you are a brave man! you coulda done a few diff things to turn it off that didnt involve pain. lol

Check your oil, and make sure it isnt milky like previously said, prob a headgasket if it over heated. Hopefully it didnt crack the block, how long did it run before you pulled the plug?(No pun intended)lol

the mechanic who told me to pull the plug said it was the crankcase but im not sure what the crankshaft would have to do with that

if it was running overheated for 10 min , gauranteed you toasted the rings, first , I'd do a compression test and smell the oil , see if it smells burnt
