Default Water Pump Question

On my 94 Cobra i know for sure i have a bad water pump due to coolant coming from weap hole, my question for you mustang experts is...

What is the capacity of the radiator?

reason i ask is because i had to add about 2/3 gallon to radiator and I would like to know if I ran it dry or if i had some left.

I belive i have a 3 row brass radiator.

there is coolant in the block as well, as long as you didn't overheat it to no end it doesn't matter what the radiator holds, but the radiator often doesn't hold 2 gallons

thank you mjr46.

I am confused about your statement about not holding 2 gallons, i was saying i added 2/3rds of a gallon, not 2-3. was that your understanding?

also from looking at water pumps online, it looks to me like the water pumps recircs water in the block as well as bringing it in from radiator (when thermostat opens) is this what saved me or am i wrong on my assumption of how the pump works.
