Just as the title says my intake manifold needs a good cleaning. I tried using carb cleaner, even brake clean, but the carbon build up is pretty significant. I was wondering what you guys would suggest to clean it? I was told to leave it in a bucket of gasoline for a day or two, but I'm not too sure about that. Any suggestions?

A bucket of gasoline? That's just stupid and a waste. What do you do with the gas afterwards? Dump it in the car? lol
If you know of any shop that would just do you a favour, tell them to send it through the parts washer. Varsol and a stiff bristled brush will work well too, just won't be able to get all the way into the runners. If it's hard carbon, use a screwdriver to chip it off.
