Default Gears with 24inch tires.

Well I decided its about time to do gears on my car. I want to go with 3.73 or 3.55. I have 24 inch tires and was curious to what RPM you run at 60mph. I dont really want it to go much over 2400/2500 RPM.

the rpm defference between the two at 60mph would be about 50rpms the difference is so small youll never notice it. youd be a fool to go with 3.55

thats a 17in rim, probably 245/45/17 or 255/40/17, thats going to be a 25.x in tire.

Close 235/45/17 all around. I measured it when the tire was on the ground so it was a bit compressed. Its a tad under 25 with the tire jacked up. I would get new tires but the previous owner put these on and they are still brand new(less than 3k) so they stay for a while. But lets say when these are done I go with either 245 or 255 in the back then what gear would be the best to go with?

25.33in tire (796.6 revs per mile)
any mods to the car?
going to drag race or just street drive?
what trans?

.67 OD, that tire & 2500rpm
4.30's = 65mph
4.10's = 69mph
3.90's = 72mph
3.73's = 75mph
3.55's = 79mph

Just unequal shorties, o/r h-pipe, flows, and a CAI(if that counts for a mod). No real plans for a H/C/I as of right now, suspension would be first. And yeah its a t5 so the tranny ratio you have their is right. I plan to take it to the strip now and then but it will mostly be a street car(a daily driver).

Edit: Finnaly found a site where I can calculate RPM as you showed. As of right now I feel a nice set of 3.73 would do good.
