Default More H.P!!!!!!!!!!

As you saw from the other port I have the 1995 GT5.0 vert. She has 45,000 all orignal plugs wires belts everything. Some say to leave it stock. I am wanting more H.P!!! I have a Steda shifter, CAI, and 3:55 gears lowered 2'' with Steada upper and lower control arms and rear sway bar( i think) So I am thinking Supercharger? Any Suggestions. Budget around $3500 or less?

When buying a supercharger, I'd buy used. You can find some really great deals out there. Corral.net is a good place to start off your search. I bought my Vortech V2 with less than 3000 miles for $1,950. It also came with an upgraded 2.95 SC pulley. The majority of superchargers out there are quality units, other than Powerdyne(in most cases). My preference is Vortech or Paxton(Vortech owns Paxton too). I like my V2. It makes good power and sounds like a jet at idle. As for supporting mods you will need a 255lph fuel pump and colder plugs(Autolite 3924 is an excellent plug). Since you are basically stock, you can get by with your stock 19lb injectors. Just make sure the kit comes with an FMU(fuel management unit). If funds permit, I would highly recommend getting a tune to make the most out of your combo. Good luck!

a supercharger is nice but you dont want to over due it with too much boost on the stock bottom end. no more that 8psi. with $3500 you could go the head, cam, intake route and have some left over for exhaust if thats also still stock. you could also probably find a nice block for cheap on craiglist or something. just some other ideas. good luck.

You can never have enough boost!!!! LOL! But your stock bottom end is not a weakness. I make 15psi on stock internals with 0 problems. I have a conservative tune and do not beat on the car regularly. A tune and the proper fuel will go a long way in keeping your motor in check
