Ok Im done with the build of my 347. I droped the motor in my car but ran into a problem. The throtle cable is hitting my tall valvecovers. There must be a simple fix. I used roller rockers that why im going with the tall valecovers. My car is fuel injected and I heard that you cant run tall valvecovers with injected car???

 

is it hindering the cable in any way? if it still works properly, i'd just leave it, unless you're going for a cleaner look.

 

I only have half throttle. it is the piece on the throttle body the metal piece where the cable connects. When it I
s drawn back it hit the valve covers.

 

Put a intake spacer on it. Thats whats on my car. be careful though because it may hit your hood.

 

it has an intake spacer already. I have a 3in cowl hood so not a problem on hitting the hood.

 

you dont need tall valve covers.
Im running comp cams pro magnum rollers on my canfield heads and stock fox valve covers

 

what did you do to make the valve covers fit? cut the baffle out?
