Driveshaft question

Driveshaft question

I bought a used aluminum driveshaft tonight and it didn't come with the yoke. Can I take the yoke off of the stock driveshaft and put it on the aluminum one? If so, is it hard, any tips?

So long as the u joint is the same for both driveshafts it should go on without a problem.

im pretty sure the U joints are different, alluminum ds U joints are smaller....at least they are for mine, but my ds is out of a 95 aerostar.

The problem is that I don't have the aluminum to compare it to, so I don't know if it is different...
