What can you guys tell me about this Hurst shifter?
Are any of you using it? How does it compare to the billet plus and pro5.0 type shifter?
Does it have the 2nd to 3rd auto center/assist?

Hurst's are good shifters. However, I have heard they can be a bit notchy. But most aftermarket shifters are. I am sure you will like it. But, I have an MGW shifter. It's awesome. It's super quiet, the shifts are short, it's priced competitively, and it's world's better than stock.

Thanks for the input NoGo. I have a Pro5.0 in my car right now, but I want to trade it for a hurst just to try it out because I have been hearing good things. IMO the Pro5.0 is way to "notchy". I was really wondering how this particular shifter (pictured above) performed in comparison to the hurst billet plus and the pro5.0...

I heard good things about them too. Where did you get yours from? I'm also debating on that and a hurst

I had the hurst pro billet in my 5.0 and did not like it at all. i was having a hard time at the track with missing gears and the positive stops comming unadjusted. I went to the PRO 5.0 and i will never use another shifter. The hurst is just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

I bought mine from a forum member. But MGW sells them online for $180, I believe. It's about the same price as all the other shifters out there. But basically, any aftermarket shifter will be world's better than the long and sloppy stock one!

Which hurst do you have exactly? Is it like the one in the picture I posted or do you have the Pro Billet? If so, do you know if there is a difference in the two?
