fuel ?
curious what you guys recomend i run in my 83 vert?? heres a little background for you to help decide... i took the 3.8 and auto out and put a 306 and t-5 as well as just finished installing my rear end ( 4.30 gears ) .... any way its a carb setup 650 carb ill be making around 400-450 horse , at the engine of course. Now i need to buy a fuel pump/reg. what make or style? any suggestions appreciated

canton dual sump 7 qt pan balanced tuned crank bottom end girdle hydraulic roller nitrous spec comp cam ( just under .600 lift ) wiseco pistons with all forged internals ported and polished e7's which im about to get rid of because ive cut them down as much as possible 1.64/1.90 valves roller rockers dual chain timing ... lots of other goodies ... had this same engine in my 89 hatch and untuned unjetted it ran 12.48 at 117... the heads i have to ditch there cut down to much. the valve seals wont seat properly, and it needs new seals to often. also i run full eibach pro drag springs 90/10 struts up front, line lock , mickey thompson slicks and skinnys.. the list can go on for ever

none when i put the engine together i built it to handle up to a 200 shot , but im not running any. like i mentioned before i ran a 12.48 with these crappy e7's. So im thinking some nice alluminum heads and get rid of this crappy motorcraft ignition that cuts out around 6 grand and replace it with a nice msd setup thatll keep me goin up to 7 grand, plus a new 3 row radiator and i think ill be mid 11's. Thats of course when i get some new frame connectors and put a cage in this vert to try and get it to go straight, but if it will hook i think ill be mid 11's. For me For now thats fine, Nitrous can take a toll on your engine, and im trying to prolong this one

Well I guarantee you are no where near 400-450 hp then. Even with worked e7's.
Anyway onto you question, you can get a holley blue or red pump with one of their regulators and be good to go. With your setup you could even get a really good mechanical pump and run just fine.

well thanks for your recomendation but i dont need you to tell me how much horsepower im making when youve never seen my car and dont even know everything about , all i wanted was a suggestion for a fuel setup , not to be interigated about what im running. Also ive seen 306 stroker kits run in the 10's n/a so why i couldnt be making this much power is beyond me.
