transmissions..?
Depends on how much you wanna spend, its obviously gonna be more expensive to switch to a manual and another AOD will be much easier to slap in. My automatic went out on me also and i just bought another refurbished AOD and slapped a shift kit and a torque converter in while i was down their so it was easy cause the tranny was already out of the car, it all jst depends on money and personal preference i guess
Im pretty much doing the dame to my car as yours....TB, Cam, Intake, Heads, 3.73's, and eventually a S trim supercharger so im looking for something thats going to hold 400-600hp and not die on me the minute i floor it. If anyone knows of any reputable brands throw them at me......
If you want to stay automatic, and use it on the highway with OD, I would recomend Lentech. They have several versions from mild to wild. I have the Strip Terminator Stage 2, that is rated at 1500 HP.

Well if your droppin your tranny i would recommend the Edge mild torque converter its a 2600 stall but if you go to much higher right now without the torque its gonna suck. But if you get 400 hp then u could probably throw in a wild torque converter with a much higher stall and be happy, also you gotta do the Transgo shift kit it takes about an hour or so but it gives nice hard shifts which can make the tires chirp a bit. But your down their and if you have the money you might as well throw them in. I dont have any opinion on Lentech though i never heard of it

all of you are forgetting a big *** trans cooler......have it rebuilt using kevlar bands mainly in overdrive, use a trans-go shift kit and a 2600 stall or so....find yourself a 3 core rad or aluminum one and a 180 mr gasket stat..all this will keep heat down and pump up the pressure for longer life, amsoil trans. fluild a must
