you wanna keep ASSuming things should be right just because trickflow sent you the stuff, then fine keep breaking springs, FYI....about 2 years ago comp cams told me the same springs for the xe274 were adequate for my xe282 cam, guess what......not!!!!!! ended up having to use 978's instead of the 986's but this was after a world of issues with the 986's, there is no and I repeat no such thing as put a motor together and not blueprint/check everything you install

assembled wow is right.. i meant included.. i gotta stop writing these things on a not so sober state of mind hahha.. obviously 291 isnt impressive, compared to the cars that tony71502 were talking about it is,.. but im not making that much power, thats why i am baffled at breaking springs..

when I have my heads set up, I often send them to a local guy who specializes in aluminum heads, thsat's all he does and he sets the springs up and checks all the specs, IE ...seat pressure, coil bind, open and closed pressures as well asvalve seal clearance and anything else pertinant....since I've had him do all my head work, I haven't had an issue....and he curently is set up my eddy rpm heads for a 306 build I'm doing
