Default difference in spindles

For the most part I've got the 86 up and running, and have even worked out most of the kinks with the N20. I do still have whats left of the 89 at my house and this week I'm getting rid of it so I'm trying to take anything I may need or want off of it. I've left the 4cyl spindles and brakes on the 86 for now, and my question is, is it worth it to swap the GT spindles and hubs onto the 86, or will the 4cyl stuff work OK as long as I upgrade the brake parts? It looks like I just have to pop out the ball joints and swap all the stuff over, but I'm not sure.

It does work "ok" but I would save the spindles so you can upgrade the brakes. No 5.0 spindles, no 5.0 brakes.
