Default Third Stang'

I just recently sold my second GT Mustang. I have a 94' 5.0 Mustang sitting out in my drive and it needs engine work. On one cylinder it had no compression. So I must pull it apart and replace piston rings and whatever else needs done. But I figure while I have it all torn down I might as well add to it. I thought maybe a New Cam, Heads, Intake Manifold and new lifters. Now I would like advise on what I should do to make it faster without spending alot of money.

look into the trickflow kit on summit. its like 2100 dollars. its a h/c/i kit and will give you a nice horsepower bump.

you will also need a bigger tb, mass air, 24 lb injectors, and fuel pump.

i would piece together my own heads cam an intake, around here you can get some really nice used heads for about a grand, 200 dollars for a cam, and less that 600 for an intake so that alone is 1800$ that leaves you to buy other stuff such as injectors, fuel pump, rockers etc

if your looking for horsepower while you have it apart buy a rebuild kit... atleast youll have a reliable engine. then get your h/c/i. I like the gt40 intake from what ive heard from it. summit has cheap cams. and i have no clue about heads. but it seems to make more sence if your gonna keep the car for any period of time to spend 500 and rebuild it... that way its more reliable and plus it adds hp...

Im with him peice your parts together. Just sit down and find out what you want to do with the car and then tell use and we could give you a list of everything you will need

Cam,heads, exhaust. You don't need new lifters as it is a roller cam
