I found a Flat tappet cam with the correct firing order.

http://www.jegs.com/i/Comp+Cams/249/35-330-3/10002/-1#

Couldn't i just put this in, it will be the correct firing order, my computer will stop freaking out, and all should be fine?

you'd need to swap springs on heads and make sure valvetrain is adequate

I have double springs with comp cam 1.6 rockers.

I went to Comp Cams website an looked at the specs, it says its for a 351, but Jegs an summit list it for a 302 also.

Also the Push rod length off the spec sheet says 8.700 that seems a little to big because i am using a 6.25 right now. Or is that push rod length for the 351 block.

this the the push rods for the retro fit cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-7819-16/
if you want a flat tapped cam with the h.o. firing order just get a 351 cam it is the h.o. firing order. I put a roller cam in my 302 and got a 351 cam for the firing order.

So your saying those 6.400 rods will work with that 351 cam i posted.

why dont you just have the firing order changed in your ECM?

seems like that would make things a bit easier
