Question Vortech Supercharger

I just put a supercharger on my car. The inlet tube does'nt have a hook up for the MAF, it just hooked up to the K&N filter in the fenderwell will this work or will i have to hook up the maf?

I wish you would have posted this during the install.You know that alternator bolt that holds the alternator to the bracket. Vortech tells you to put the bolt head near the block and to put the nut on the front of the bracket (near the radiator), the problem with this is that if you blow an alternator (like I did) you can't get the alternator out because the bolt hits the block when you go to slide it out.

The Fix: Put that bolt in from the front side and the nut near the engine block, you'll need a washer under the nut as a shim because the bolt end will hit the block if you don't.

This will save you a mound of aggravation,trust me.
