Car wont start . Please help

Default Car wont start . Please help

Well i bought a 87 mustang GT convertible that was hit the front pretty good. cant seem to get it started. checked plugs, wires ect...it will turn over but wont start. i was told that sometimes when they are involved in a front end crash soemtimes ther ECM gets fried? what other problems could it be?

if it was hit hard enough, it could have tripped the inertia switch in the trunk. it shuts off power to the fuel pump in the event of a crash, but usually only triggers from rear collisions. cant hurt to check it anyway.
it should be a little black toggle switch mounted inside the trunk wall somewhere.

If ya need parts I got an 87 vert rolling chassis sittin here in the yard all there just has an lx body kit on it I got the gt on mine top and all works and is in good shape to rips or tears. I am going with the fuel switch its a black box on the driver side on the back wall of the trunk by the tail light bolts with a red button. Good luck

thanks ill deffinetly check that. is that whole ecm thing true also? that it could just get friend from being hit?
