I got a magnaflow x pipe w/ cats. Its has 4 cats like the stock h pipe and its in 3 pieces? I tried installing it and the 2 sections that connect to the header are two inches from touching the collector. Im not even sure if i have the correct part. In pictures it has 2 cats and is in one piece. Ive installed a bbk O/r and a stock h pipe before and they both fit. If I do have the right part, can i bend the hangars or adjust the part the hangars go in?

2 inches off = wrong part. i've never seen an aftermarket catted system that has 4. any performance catted system would have 2.

yea, its definitely the wrong part. I called down to Performance Peddler and they closed 1/2 hr before I called. So now I have to wait till monday to ship it back and I'll be w/o a car for a week or so. I could of put the stocker back on, buts theres no way I would put that POS back on....I just recycled it for $30.

I already put the wraping back on and boxed it up. It had three parts, the X crossover with w cats and 2 sections with cats that connect to the headers. Like mentioned earlier, no aftermarket X/H pipe comes with 4 cats, atleast I've never seen one.

Sounds like an 05-up kit mixed in with the 86-93 kit.
I bought the Magnaflow cat-back for my Ram from there. Fast shipping and great prices.

I finally figured out what I have!! I looked everywhere and could not find a pic of the wrong part I was sent. So i went on carsounds site b/c they do the cats for Magnaflow. When looking up the part, theres a choice for 49 State or California. When i selected California it shows a 3 piece X pipe w/ 4 cats like the stock h pipe and for 49 States it shows the one piece X w/ 2 cats. I can't wait to call on monday to sort this mess out.
