I've been looking at some idle videos of exhaust with various mods and I'm hearing a distinct similarity between what my car sounded like when it was running and an E cam.

Given that I am not a machinist, I obviously havn't got the proper tools to measure my lobes and find out.

Are there any distinct markings on the alphabet cams that distinguish them from stock? Also, if I were to use a micrometer from the bottom of the base circle to the top of the lobe, are there any spec sheets I could compare to?

should say it on the front of the cam. mine said f303 on it

Matt, on the heel of the cam it'll be clearly stamped

my E303 had it stamped too
you should be able to measure a difference in the lobe, that is how you determine how much lift the cam would have

just went out and looked at the motor i purchased, all it has is two B's and 1D1, so I'll assume that stock. I'll take the other one out tomorrow and have a peek.
