first off. i really want another 5.0...its a convertable and AOD, but i can get it for only 500, it runs and is in pretty good shape. all it needs if exhaust, and to be cleaned. would it be worth my time to buy it and put a c4 or c6 trans in it? or how hard will a 5 sp swap be? or will it be better to just save for a nice 5.0 hard top, 5 sp.? thanks for any answeres.

personally a AOD built right is better then a C4 IMHO. since they have the same gear ratios and plus you get OD when you run steep gears. 5 speed swaps blah who needs them

should i buy it then? so will an aod with a big stall and 4:10's in the rear be a quick car?

yep good combo for a 13 sec car on good tires. thats how my car was with some suspension. and i got a 3k stall for sale one that came from my old setup
