Default 302 to 351

do i need a new rear end, transmission, and some suspension work done if i were to do this? 351 motors are cheaper

you should be doing the suspension anyway, cuz thats what gets the power to the ground.

tranny will bolt right up to it though. how long it lasts depends on how u drive.

well money is the issue not speed at the moment so i guess i wont dump the accelerator anytime soon with the new motor

Default 302-351

What is the best way to beef up a suspension for the 302 to 351 conversion? Is there ways to beef up the T-5 as well? I know that those can get busted pretty fast with the Windsor

U/L control arms in the rear, definitely subframe connectors(preferably full length, body contouring, not straight)
might look into stronger axles & diff down the line, too.

the best thing u could ever do with a t5 is throw it away idk if it will fit but look for a used t56 or something
