Default how much gain from a good port N polish

how much would you gain from a good port and polish on the stock intake manifold and stock heads heads. Im talking a good head job, bigger valves, good port job. what kinda of gains are we talking for a good P&P. How much would it gain with these mods...70mm tb,306 rebuild aluminum pistons,re polichesd crank. stock compression or little more, full exhaust,CAI,alum driveshaft...and few more mods.

I'm porting my stock ones out too, with the instructions it said there was a 19hp increase, I'm not sure if that is with a valve job or if that is just with the port n' polish. that was with someone that knew what they were doing too..lol I know I don't so I'm having the stepdad do it for me.

but idk, thats with a kit from summit... if your planning on taking them to a shop and having it done then yeah I would think 40-50 is about right...

Don't worry abot the polish part, it can hurt you if done too much on the intake port, and on the exhuast port and benifit is lost after the car has been run for even a few hours. If done right I would say about 35-40 hp total, but I always like to underestimate.

I'd say the biggest horsepower gain is from the driveshaft[8D]Honestly your better off to get an aftermarket Intake and heads for the money you will spend you could have a nice intake.Imo

come on if you do it yourself and know what your doing then it will be ALOT cheaper then a aftermarket intake & heads..
