Default Taurus Electric Fan

I have a 89, 5.0 with a vortech supercharger and want to run the taurus electric fan. Will the fan hit the crankshaft pulley? Has anyone run this set up with a supercharger?

How much farther out is the pulley than stock? I have quite a bit of room left on mine without the extra belt.

You can see a little better in this video. Lots of room left.

i have the svt contour dual fan. from my experience with the Taurus fan you have 3 options which i have listed below, MIND you these are from my experience and every ones car is different. I wanted to run it also but found out the only one that would fit is the svt contour fan, also tried a mark 8 no chance with that, and also a black magic which was too deep as well.

A:after market radiator? prob not but maybe if you do trimming
B:after market radiator with 8 rib blower set up? No chance
C:stock radiator and 8 rib setup? maybe with trimming

I'll take a pic when i get home around 12:30 i only have 1/8 of an inch between the motors and my crank pulley

Default taurus fan

The radiator is stock, the supercharger is standard 8 rib vortech, no cog or anything like that. The crankshaft pulley definetly sticks out farther than stock. My stock fan barely clears the crank pulley right now. Appreciate the help so far....just curious what electric fan all the supercharged stock radiator guys are running. Everyone says that the taurus fan is the way to go but I don't want to buy one until I get some feedback and/or pics on how well they fit in a supercharged application.

thanks alot for the pics. What kind of fan is that? Looks like you have it mounted somewhat to one side.
