Explorer Intake Install
MY '92 GT is ready for the explorer intake (upper and lower). Do I really need to drill and tap some holes? if so, which? Or can I just Install it without drilling anything? Another question, I know there is no power gains without the EGR, but can I just Remove it from my car anyway?

RE: Explorer Intake Install
youll see some gains but little from removing the egr. thats only if you do the total package.
for the GT40E intake. you will have to drill atleast one hole. its on the number 5 runner for the ACT. you dont really need to drill a hole for the return coolant unless you use the coolant going thru the EGR spacer

You do not have to drill the hole for the ACT sensor in the manifold, you can extend the wires and put it in the air intake tube between the MAF and the throttle body. Thats where mine is located and it has no adverse effects.

Here is a 1998 Ford Explorer lower and upper intake manifold in a 1994 GT.... very pleassed with the results and no drilling involved on mine, good luck.
