Default CRANKS WONT START! NEED HELP!

Hey guys, so i just went out to move my car and it wont start.. my dad moved it yesterday or the day before and had no problem with it. but today you turn the key and it just cranks. Battery is good. It has fuel pressure. I have an MSD ignition with the optional wire harness. and the car still cranks when i switch it back to the stock ignition and totally disconnect the MSD. with a test light, there is power to both sides of the coil but the coil is not energizing. all the fuses inside the car are good. there is no spark when the car turns over while checking it with an inline spark checker (which i checked against another vehicle to make sure it was working.) I also swapped in another working coil and still no change. Power on the otherside of the coil is supposed to break/ground??? Possible stator and module??? any help would be great!

Most likely his 92

Ryan, I have a test module here at the house if you wanna run by and try it!! It's plug and play, you don't have to take off your old one to try it. Gimmie a call if you want to try it.

okay so ive been searching for a new ignition module and they are expensive little parts. so Napa has a module for $105.00. should i just get the module and call it a day, or is there a chance the stator and all that jazzz would go bad soon? Napa carries a complete distributor with the module on it for $130.00 good deal imo
